Create a Relational Database Source

On the Conversionomics homepage, you will see a screen with all of your projects; select the project you will be working on. If you need to create a new project, select the orange button that says "New Project" and follow the instructions

Once you select the project you want to work on, you will see a similar screen as shown below. Select the orange button that says " + New Source"

Input the "Source Name" and select which type of Relational Database you would like to use, then click "CONTINUE" once complete.
The available RDB's include

  • MSSQL
  • MySQL
  • OracleSQL
  • PostgresSQL
  • Snowflake

You will be redirected to the source configuration page.

Here you can select the available RDB connection and the name of your Table. A query can also be included to only pull the data you need into the source.

Once the configuration has been set, press the Save button at the bottom right of the page and the source will be ready to run.

When you run the source, you will be greeted with this popup.

From here you can either choose to pull data from the database, or to directly upload a csv file to the source.
The Overwrite data switch, when activated, will replace all data in the source every time it is run. If the switch is off, it will append data to the end of the file.

Press Load once you are ready to populate your source with data.

Congratulations! You have successfully created a RDB source!
